University of California (UC Davis) to gain the core knowledge of
commercial wine making, we left the busy life of software executives in

Deb and Dave Burgdorf have been making wine for over 30 years, and decided to make their hobby a business in 2005. Deborah Burgdorf has a M.S. degree in Microbiology with over 15 years of experience in fermentation, and Dave Burgdorf has a B.S. degree in Agriculture and 30 years of experience working with plants and conservation planning.

Cadillac Winery is a new inland country winery perfectly situated amongst pine trees and rolling farms just east of the Tustin exit off US 131. From the moment you enter, the old world style tasting room and traditional wine production facility convey a lovely charm while you enjoy the Green Apple, Wild Berry or Blueberry Infused Pinot Noir.

The family operated Flying Otter Vineyard & Winery is situated on a 55 acre estate in Southeast Michigan and features an outdoor Tasting Pavilion, open from April-October each year on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, offering tastings, entertainment, wine education courses, crafting activities, and more.

Experience the beauty of fall in the Porcupine Mountains. When the leaves change, the Porcupine Mountains is where you want to be! Located on the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the Porcupine Mountains are home to the largest tract of old-growth hardwood forests west of the Adirondacks.

Each Fall visitors flock to the Gaylord Michigan area for the intense colors of red, yellow or orange! Beautiful pines are the backdrop of autumn foliage. The city of Gaylord has identified two perfect tours for you to take and enjoy this season.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park encompasses close to 50,000 acres stretching over 13 miles. Most of this is undeveloped woodland without roads, buildings or power lines. The centerpiece of the park, and the very reason for its existence, is the Tahquamenon River with its waterfalls.

Wild Beauty on the Lake Superior Shore. Sandstone cliffs, beaches, sand dunes, waterfalls, lakes, forest, and shoreline beckon you to visit Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Hiking, camping, sightseeing, and four season outdoor opportunities abound. The lakeshore hugs the Lake Superior shoreline for more than 40 miles.

Pictured Rocks Cruises, LLC is an authorized concessionaire of the National Park Service Department of the Interior and has been guiding the public to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for over 50 years.
