Summertime is the best time of the year! You might agree when you attend the numerous City and County Fairs, Arts and Music Festivals across the great state of Michigan. These are the Celebrations from which memories are made.
The excitement of the carnival in a colorful display of neon lights. The smells of sizzling hot dogs, corn dogs and brats accompanied by the sweet aroma of cotton candy and pretzels. The fair is back in town and for this limited time we are going to spend every night enjoying the shows & entertainment while getting the courage to ride the Ferris Wheel and Zipper. Summer Festivals
JULY 4 @ 9:00 AM This annual event held on the 4th of July! Professional stone skippers will bring their best skipping skills and compete for the much coveted trophy! There will also be a Gerplunking Division (age 5 & under), a Pebbles Division (ages 6-12), and an Open Division (age 13 & up). |

September 15 – 21, 2024 The St. Joseph County Grange Fair in Centreville,Michigan includes nightly Grandstand Events sure to excite the entire family. Don't miss it. |
Just south of Ludington is a magical world of seventy foot sand dunes and evergreen forests. Here, burrowed amidst the Silver Lake State Park sand dunes, stands the spectacular Little Sable Point Lighthouse. |
Open Seasonally Just down the shore from Big Sable stands the Ludington North Breakwater Light, another charge of SPLKA’s and a partner with the City of Ludington. This 1924 light is also open for tours and tower climbs and boasts a vibrant green light from its tower. |
Saturday, June 29, & Sunday, June 30, 2024 The Lakeshore Art Festival is a Muskegon tradition with a unique blend of arts, crafts, music, food and fun along the scenic shoreline. The Lakeshore Art Festival features hundreds of artists and crafters, a Children’s Lane, street performers and a food area including an Artisan Food Market and festival food favorites. |

August 24 - 27, 2023 Each summer ends with the Houghton County Fair in Hancock Michigan, the weekend before Labor Day weekend. It offers a great opportunity to come out and have a great time with friends and family with entertainment ranging from livestock shows, demolition and off road derby. Miss Houghton County Queen and youth talent show. |
2024 Dates: TBA The Harrietta Blueberry Festival began in 2007 when local residents wanted to organize an event to bring community members together. Choosing a locally grown product to celebrate provided a great reason to have games, live music, a parade and of course blueberry pancakes, pies and sundaes. |
JUNE 29 - JULY 6, 2024 Every year over a half million people join in on the festivities of the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City Michigan the week of July 4th. |

Labor Day Weekend The annual Marquette Area Blues Fest will be held over Labor Day weekend at the beautiful Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette. The fest features three days of world class blues music, along with workshops, a dance floor, vendors, and a wide array of food and beverage choices!! |
