This annual event held on the 4th of July! Professional stone skippers will bring their best skipping skills and compete for the much coveted trophy! There will also be a Gerplunking Division (age 5 & under), a Pebbles Division (ages 6-12), and an Open Division (age 13 & up).

The Les Cheneaux Antique Wooden Boat Show is held in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the city of Hessel, Michigan. Founded in 1978, the event is held every year during the second week of August . The Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show is held each year in the beautiful Upper Peninsula town of Hessel, Michigan.

August 16 - 18, 2024

Each year during the third weekend in August we celebrate a part of our local heritage, wild blueberries. An art fair, entertainment, and wonderful local food are part of the festivities. The celebration also showcases informative programs of music, nature, and lore all featuring local history.

Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk is always Labor Day. the Mackinac Bridge will be closed to public traffic form 6:30 a.m. to noon on Labor Day, to accommodate the Annual Bridge Walk.

There is no fee or registration required to participate in the walk.

June 7 - 16, 2024

The Mackinac Island Lilac Festival is a 10-day celebration held each June. Festivities include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen, Lilac Festival 10K, horse-drawn carriage tours, numerous concerts, walking tours, Mackinac Island Dog and Pony Show, the Lilac Festival Grand Parade and so much more!

A brief and informal Memorial Day observance to pay tribute to the soldiers who served at Fort Mackinac. Soldiers will assemble at 8:30 a.m. at the Fort Mackinac Avenue of Flags, march to the Post Cemetery, perform a short ceremony and salute, and return to the fort.

2023 tour season starts on June 14 and runs through October 7
The tour departs from Soo Junction, MI at 10:30 AM and returns at 5:00 PM.

Train and Riverboat Tour to the Tahquamenon Falls
