The Winter Sports Park provides a community venue for many popular winter recreational activities: Two Ice Rinks | Ski Area | Sledding Area | Warming House/Concession

Ice Skating
Enjoy a picturesque, winter tradition and hours of outdoor fun ice-skating at Kensington Metropark. The rink is located at the Orchard Picnic area near the picnic shelter, not far from the sledding hills! There is a small walkway mat from shelter to the rink. The rink is open when ice conditions permit.

Snow Tubing at Timberlee Hills is the perfect way to spend the day with your whole family in Traverse City this winter. It’s all the fun of sledding – without hiking back up the hill!

Great family fun during the winter months! Groomed specifically for snow tubing, riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes as you drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill.

Crystella Hill is Crystal Falls' own little giant. Sledding, Snowboarding, and skiing, made possible by a dedicated group of Volunteers.

Join Cooks Family Farm for a horse drawn sleigh ride through God’s country! Private sleigh rides run around 40 minute with hot chocolate and cookies to follow. The Sleighs can hold between 10-12 adults.
