What to Do and See in Michigan
Northern Sun Winery is a destination on to itself. Our vineyard is nestled in the fields of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, five miles from Lake Michigan and just outside the historic town of Escanaba.
Peninsula Cellars is a family run winery located on the Old Mission Peninsula, just north of Traverse City, Michigan. The region lies along the 45th parallel, halfway between the north pole and the equator. This gives the region its distinct micro-climate, that makes it perfect for growing high quality wine grapes.
Located in southeast Michigan, in the heart of downtown Tecumseh’s historical district, Pentamere’s tasting room offers guests complementary wine tasting and a peek at our production facilities. See that railing around the hole in the floor? That’s your best vantage point. Heckling is encouraged--just make sure you can take it, if you dish it.
If you haven't tried wine made without the use of chemicals you haven't tried wine with true fruit taste and aroma. Imagine the taste and aroma of the fresh fruit, then you are close to what our wines smell and taste like.
