Michigan is a full four season state and here every season brings another version of attractions and activities! The hardest part is to know where to start.

What to Do and See in Michigan

Crystella Hill is Crystal Falls' own little giant. Sledding, Snowboarding, and skiing, made possible by a dedicated group of Volunteers.

Enjoy a Fantasy Horse Drawn Carriage ride through the uniquely decorated streets of Frankenmuth. During the Christmas Season carriages are draped with garland and twinkling lights. While sitting on the crushed velvet seats of our Vis-à-vis enjoy holiday themed music along with the horse's jingling sleigh bells.

February 8-10, 2024

Harrison, Michigan can't wait for spring to golf! Each year in February they dust off their golf clubs and invite visitors to play in this uproarious golf tournament on frozen Budd Lake in downtown Harrison. This fun event is played with tennis balls on a 9-hole course.

Join Cooks Family Farm for a horse drawn sleigh ride through God’s country! Private sleigh rides run around 40 minute with hot chocolate and cookies to follow. The Sleighs can hold between 10-12 adults.

Since 1978 The Boss Family Christmas Display has filled our hearts with holiday spirit. Many have grown up visiting each year. The display includes both nostalgic and current characters. Plan on visiting any night until the first of the new year. Open every night at 9336 Pearl St. in Charlevoix MI 49720.

Candlelight Hike

Join Charlevoix Recreation and Visit Charlevoix and experience the magic of snowshoeing, hiking or cross-country skiing on candle-lit trails. You set your own pace on this self-guided journey. Follow the candlelight to a roaring fire and hot chocolate. The hike will begin at the sledding hill parking lot. The event takes place between 5 - 8 PM.

Enjoy the stunning views of our area on our professionally guided shipwreck tour! Take our cruise down the Cheboygan River, under the drawbridge, and past three lighthouses. From there we cruise into Lake Huron around the 14′ Shoal Light and into Duncan Bay over three shallow water shipwrecks.

February 2024

Lansing Winterfest turns downtown Lansing into a fun outdoor winter celebration, consisting of over a dozen public art sculptures, crafted from ice. Four of these frozen installations will be carved live over the course of this frosty fiesta!

The Annual Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is hosted by the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees open to adults 21 years of age and older (valid driver’s license or state issued ID required). Are you a beer connoisseur? Then you will love the annual Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival.
