Winterfest is a full weekend of winter fun in Grand Haven, Michigan during the last week of January. The snow is upon us, and with Michigan’s winters being long and cold, this is a perfect time to get out and be active. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone warm and having a great time.

Holiday Lasers on the Ore Dock will once again turn Marquette’s century-old Lower Harbor Ore Dock into the backdrop of a holiday light display. The show will kick off on Thanksgiving and run on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights through New Year’s Eve.

Summer Train
We depart historic downtown Coopersville on the dates and times shown on our calendar. During the journey, our friendly Conductor will talk about local railroad history and answer your questions.

2023 tour season starts on June 14 and runs through October 7
The tour departs from Soo Junction, MI at 10:30 AM and returns at 5:00 PM.

Kapnick Orchards is a family-owned and operated orchard and farm market. We grow many fruits and vegetables including apples, peaches, cherries, pears, blueberries, raspberries, plums, apricots, grapes, nectarines, strawberries, rhubarb, pumpkins, squash, asparagus, peas, beans, and potatoes. We have pick your own on some fruits when in season.

While Sunflowers are in bloom we are open from 10am to sunset.

The Harrietta Blueberry Festival began in 2007 when local residents wanted to organize an event to bring community members together. Choosing a locally grown product to celebrate provided a great reason to have games, live music, a parade and of course blueberry pancakes, pies and sundaes.

July 3 - 4, 2023

The festivities begin on July 3rd with the Marquette Fireworks show over Lake Superior. Then experience the first-ever Marquette Fourth of July Laser Show on July 4th on the historic Lower Harbor Ore Dock!

Memorial Weekend

Each year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of people from across the globe gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations, new and old.

Christmas lights light up the night at Annual Santa Parade. Lighted floats and entries cruise down Main Street while people snap photos of the colorful, bright submissions.

Downtown Rochester is accepting applications from artists for the Snowman Stroll, a public art event that will bring (12) 5’ fiberglass snowmen to Main Street! The Snowman Stroll is open to all artists, whether professional or amateurs. Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit designs.
