Join Cooks Family Farm for a horse drawn sleigh ride through God’s country! Private sleigh rides run around 40 minute with hot chocolate and cookies to follow. The Sleighs can hold between 10-12 adults.

Enjoy a Fantasy Horse Drawn Carriage ride through the uniquely decorated streets of Frankenmuth. During the Christmas Season carriages are draped with garland and twinkling lights. While sitting on the crushed velvet seats of our Vis-à-vis enjoy holiday themed music along with the horse's jingling sleigh bells.

Crystella Hill is Crystal Falls' own little giant. Sledding, Snowboarding, and skiing, made possible by a dedicated group of Volunteers.

Thursdays through Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, more than 8000 parents and children come through from 76 zip codes to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, write wish lists to Santa, decorate cookies, and receive a FREE book to take home.

Great family fun during the winter months! Groomed specifically for snow tubing, riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes as you drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill.

All aboard! It's time for the annual Festival of Trains, a Traverse City holiday tradition. Come see the massive 0-gauge model train layout along with spectacular HO-, S- and G-gauge layouts. There's a special kids layout, too, where the young (and young-at-heart) may operate the controls.

Downtown streets are adorned with skeletons representing great local businesses. From creepy and scary to funny and silly, there's a skeleton for every taste!

32 Mile Color Tour starting downtown at the Cadillac City Park parking lot, head East toward Mitchell Street (away from lake) on Cass Street. At Cass/Mitchell traffic light, follow Cass/M-55 East all the way to M-66, approx. 9 miles. Turn left onto M-66 towards Lake City. Follow M-66 thru Lake City, to M-42. Turn left to go East onto M-42.

Experience a dazzling 110-acre display of annuals and perennials punctuated by distinctive bridges, towering pines, and delightful water features. A variety of tours are available to fit your needs and group size!

Each fall Cranes Orchard opens up with great activities for you and your family. The Crane Orchard corn maze is always top rated. Add in the cow train which is a great time for kids. Hint, hint - it’s a train of cows, and the kids love it! And nothing short of picking apples can be as fun as experiencing a tractor driven hayride with family.

(TCSDR) was founded in 1999, operated by volunteers to promote, conduct and support mid-distance sled dog racing in the Midwestern United States and Canada. The race attracts mushers from all over the United States, as well as Canada, South Africa and New Zealand.
