Join us at the annual Alpena Ice Festival a day of winter fun in Alpena, including ice sculptures on display throughout downtown and Mich-e-kewis Park, a huge bonfire, and a variety of activities for kids, adults and the family.

Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11 am- 5 pm

Come downtown for the annual Cocoa Crawl on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11 am- 5 pm. Participating shops and businesses will be passing out cocoa-themed treats, including hot cocoa, chocolates, and more. Bundle up and enjoy a cozy day of shopping and visiting your favorite stores downtown.

February 16-19, 2024

Winter Wonderland Weekend will feature ice carving demonstrations, Downtown shopping and restaurant specials, a scavenger hunt through the Downtown shops, and a Downtown Dollars shopping contest, all held within the boundaries of the Downtown Petoskey Social District.

February 19 - 20, 2024

Frost Fest promises a weekend filled with icy delights, from stunning under the sea themed ice sculptures to a carving competition, topped off with a shopping and dining Bingo game that will have you exploring the heart of our city!

February 16-17, 2024

The Higgins Lake/Roscommon WinterFest is a two-day celebration of winter in the Higgins Lake/Roscommon Area, held the same weekend as Michigan DNR’s Free Fishing weekend. Your badge will get you entry to events including pancake breakfast, cardboard sled race, broomball, Kids Karnival, chili cook-off and more.

The Adventure Mine is a copper mine near Greenland, Michigan that operated from 1850 to 1920. During that time, miners removed more than 11 million pounds of native copper from the ground.

Keweenaw County has 11 well-maintained sites/museums offering a glimpse into the unique history.

Tours of an authentic underground copper mine tour dating from the 1800's, with above-ground trails past 1870's mine building ruins.

Michigan BluesFest back to the streets of Old Town, Lansing.

We have a terrific line-up of artists who are as excited to get back in front of an audience as we are to hear them.

There will be something for everyone—even the kids!

Welcome to "Michigan's Finest" Fair. We are one of Michigan's largest fairs, offering fun for the whole family. Not only do we hold a seven day fair in the summer, we are a year-round facility with shows 40 plus weekends a year.
