What to See and Do in Grand Rapids Area

A great way to conveniently get around theSaugatuck/Douglas area is on one of our rental bikes or mopeds.

Mount Baldhead includes a 1 mile loop trail used for hiking, walking, and trail running. There are also steps that bring one to the summit where one can view Saugatuck and Douglas and Lake Michigan.

You can’t go wrong by heading east on Cannonsburg Road to Fallasburg or Townsend ark and maybe have a picnic amidst the colors next to a flowing stream and wooden, covered bridge. There are 11 miles of trails at Cannonsburg Ski area for hiking, biking and trail running.

Hemlock Crossing offers 239 acres of woods and wetlands along the Pigeon River. Over six miles of trails meander through bottomland and upland forest, old pine plantations and along the river. Trails connect to Pine Bend County Park on the west end of this property. A pedestrian bridge and numerous overlooks offer scenic views.
