Michigan is a full four season state and here every season brings another version of attractions and activities! The hardest part is to know where to start.
What to Do and See in Michigan
Wyandotte Michigan knows how to put on a holiday party. The Parade route begins at Northline near the Police/Court Building and ends at Eureka Avenue. The parade begins at 10 am and usually runs approximately one hour.
You don't want to miss the Christmas Nite Lights at Fifth Third Ball Park. West Michigan's largest, animated, drive thru light show, is now celebrating it's 21st year, of entertaining people of all ages. The event is located at Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, exit 91, off US 131.
Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at the fifth annual ‘Winter Snow Fun’ Holiday Parade in Marquette’s Downtown District. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks and colorful carolers transform Third Street into a magical scene from the North Pole.

Share some holiday spirit with furry and feathered folks at John Ball Zoo's annual "enrichment" day. The event, designed to help zookeepers keep animals interested in their surroundings, allows patrons to donate food, toys and other items to brighten a critter's day. Go online to johnballzoosociety.org for a wish list.
Santa Is Coming and will arrive in Gaylord for the Santa Light Parade in downtown Gaylord. Activities under the pavilion on court start at 5:30pm Hot chocolate, coffee, food, photo booth, live music,kids activities, sleigh rides, and more!!! Parade with marshal Sid Dawson starts at 6pm.
The first weekend in December we hold our annual Festival of is Grass Lakes annual Christmas Festival of Lights. Enjoy breakfast with Santa; carriage rides to the Coe House Museum. The Coe House is open and decked out for the season. The United Methodist Church has their annual craft and bake sale, Santa makes a visit to the Depot.
Costumed villagers prepare for the holiday season in the Village’s homes and shops. The Colwell Opera House presents live entertainment, and Santa Claus visits with the children. See model trains and craft demonstrations, and enjoy holiday music and unique shopping opportunities.
