JUNE 29 - JULY 6, 2024

Every year over a half million people join in on the festivities of the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City Michigan the week of July 4th.

Lewis Farm Market is a 700 acre farm in New Era, Michigan. Family owned and operated, with home grown produce, fruit orchards, market with gifts and goodies, and a bakery. Enjoy lots of activities for family fun from May through October each year … and a petting farm with a wide variety of animals and birds!

Since the inception of the Beaver Island Music Festival in 2003 this unique event has remained committed to their mission of “promoting the variety and tradition of all music and art” by creating opportunities for artists and our community.

Nestled among jack pines, just a quick two mile walk along a breathtaking trail, stands Big Sable’s noble black and white tower. At over one hundred feet tall, this historic beacon is a huge attraction for its owner, Ludington State Park.

Just south of Ludington is a magical world of seventy foot sand dunes and evergreen forests. Here, burrowed amidst the Silver Lake State Park sand dunes, stands the spectacular Little Sable Point Lighthouse.

Just down the shore from Big Sable stands the Ludington North Breakwater Light, another charge of SPLKA’s and a partner with the City of Ludington. This 1924 light is also open for tours and tower climbs and boasts a vibrant green light from its tower.

JULY 4 @ 9:00 AM

This annual event held on the 4th of July! Professional stone skippers will bring their best skipping skills and compete for the much coveted trophy! There will also be a Gerplunking Division (age 5 & under), a Pebbles Division (ages 6-12), and an Open Division (age 13 & up).

The Swingin' at the Shell annual concert series takes place in Albion's beautiful and historic Victory Park Band Shell!. This annual concert series is free and open to the public. Swingin’ at the Shell is a Caster CaresTM initiative that was created because of a passion for live music, the Albion community, and the Victory Park Bandshell.

Ike’s Mobile Kayak Rentals offers a unique kayaking experience. Midland and the surrounding area have abundant nature, beautiful rivers, lakes and accessible launch sites to make your kayaking experience relaxing and enjoyable.
